Martin Atkins strikes again with his forthcoming book BAND:SMART. I had the great opportunity to host Martin at my Humboldt Park home studio after reading his first book TOUR:SMART.

You see TOUR:SMART is unlike every other “how to be in a band” book I have ever read, it is filled with bad road stories and things that should scare away any logical person from wanting to “live the dream”. What did I do? I finished reading it, noticed he lived in Chicago, shot him a quick late night email and had a reply within 6 hours. One thing leads to another and he is in my basement speaking to 30+  musicians about his life, career, book and said the word “fuck” at least 4,000 times (I have video to prove it).

If you are a musician and you have a buck, kick it to his kickstarter campaign for your very own fuck. You can’t get them prices just anywhere, ask the secret service!
